· As of 1/1/2010 there are 81 families living in HVA with 3 homes under construction.

· Yes, Hidden Valley Airpark Association is the home owners association that owns and maintains the runway, road/taxiways and other common property.

· The airport runway is a private Texas airport.

· Yes, 100LL is available from a fuel coop managed by the HVA Association.

10. Are there separate taxiways?

· The only separate taxiways are the three entrances to the runway. Most of the roads in the community serve a dual purpose as taxiways and roads with aircraft having the right of way. The roads/taxiways are a mix of asphalt and concrete.

11. Is there an instrument approach?

· There is an instrument approach to nearby Denton (KDTO) which is 7 nm to the west.

12. What is the weather like at Shady Shores, TX?

· North Texas has mild winters and over 300 days of VFR flying weather per year. You can review the historical weather from one of our resident’s weather station to see what the weather has been in the recent past.

14. Is there public transportation?

· In nearby Denton there is bus service offered by DCTA and by 2011 there will be rail service from Denton into Lewisville and Carrollton where it will connect with DART, Dallas Area Rapid Transit. By 2011, Hidden Valley Airpark residents will be within 3 miles of a rail stop that can take you to Dallas Love field, DFW airport and many other locations in the DFW metroplex .

15. What shopping is nearby?

· Numerous grocery stores and shopping are within 5 miles with even more within 10 miles.

· Home Depot, Target, Lowes, Best Buy and more are near Golden Triangle Mall 4 miles to the northwest.

· Vista Ridge Mall is 15 miles to the south.

· And there is plenty of shopping between those locations and within the north Dallas area.
